Johnson condemns rocket fire on Al-Taji military base in Iraq
The rocket attack on Iraq's Al-Taji military base with American and British troops deployed there was condemned by British Prime Minister Boris Johnson. This is reported on March 11 by the press service of the Office of the Prime Minister. The attack on Al-Taji military base in Iraq is reprehensible, said the head of the British government. Johnson said Foreign Secretary Dominic Raab had already discussed firing at the base with State Department chief Michael Pompeo. Johnson also noted that the British Ministry of Foreign Affairs is working closely with foreign partners to clarify all the circumstances of this horrific attack. According to the news agency, more than 15 small missiles fell on the territory of the Al-Taji military base in Iraq, where American soldiers were stationed.
