Kremlin allows Moscow and Riyadh to agree on oil production
Russia and Saudi Arabia can agree on oil production, an option that is not excluded. On March 10, the press secretary of the Head of State Dmitry Peskov told journalists. Answering a question about the possible return of representatives of Moscow and Riyadh to negotiations, Peskov recalled the words of Energy Minister Alexander Nowak. The Kremlin representative noted that the possibility of compromise on the reduction of oil production is not excluded by anyone. According to the news agency, on March 6, OPEC countries did not agree to extend or change the terms of the oil production deal. Saudi Arabia's claims of increased production and oil discounts then led to a fall in oil market prices. Novak said on March 10 that Russia, together with OPEC, could take additional measures to stabilize the market, with negotiations expected in May or June.
