Three people died of diseases caused by the coronavirus SARS- CoV -2 in the past 24 hours in Australia, according to Reuters. Thus, the total number of confirmed deaths from COVID-19 complications in the country reached 68. At the same time, the Australian authorities called on the residents of the country to install a special application on their smartphones, allowing to track movements. This will allow to identify violations of the quarantine regime. According to the news agency, on April 17, the mayor of the Australian city of Warrnambul Tony Herbert urged local residents to strictly observe the regime of self-isolation, and himself went to drink beer with friends on the street. He later said that it was allegedly interaction with local business, which is the responsibility of the head of the city.
