The script and pull: how the quarantine will affect Russia's GDP

BCG experts prepared an analytical forecast of development of Russian economy in the short term. In the document entitled Not to sit out the pandemic, and to win the crisis we consider several scenarios and the most likely – push-pull, when up to 2021, there will be new outbreaks of coronavirus, which in turn will lead to periodic blocking of the enterprises because of the quarantine and the decline in GDP of 7-10%.

Lavrov calls relations between Russia and Serbia a true partnership

Russian-Serbian relations have reached a level of true strategic partnership thanks to high confidence and intensive cooperation. This was noted by Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov in a congratulatory telegram sent to his Serbian colleague Ivice Dacic on the occasion of Serbia's Statehood Day. Lavrov expressed confidence that centuries-old friendship and mutual support will help deepen relations between Moscow and Belgrade and implement all planned plans. This is fully in the interests of the peoples of Russia and Serbia, as well as strengthening security in the Balkan region, Lavrov said in a telegram. According to the news agency, earlier Russian President Vladimir Putin congratulated the President of Serbia Alexander Vuchić on the Day of Statehood of Serbia.
