An earthquake in Mexico killed one person

One person died in an earthquake in southern Mexico. An earthquake of magnitude, according to various estimates, from 7.1 to 7.7 occurred in southern Mexico. The epicenter of tremors was located 23 km from the city of Crucesite. The tremors were felt by residents of five regions, including in the capital of the country, the city of Mexico City. Earlier, the news agency reported that the Mexican authorities denied information about the threat of a tsunami as a result of an earthquake that occurred in southern Mexico.
