Employees of the Italian operator are suspected of embezzlement of customer data
The Rome Prosecutor's Office on Friday, June 26, approved the decision to apply restrictive measures against 20 employees of one of the leading national mobile communications companies Tim. 13 citizens were placed under house arrest, seven were released with an obligation not to leave the city. The prosecutor's office suspects Tim employees of illegally storing personal data of more than a million customers. The department suspects that the defendants transmitted data to intermediaries for subsequent resale to advertising agencies.
