Over 5,000 cases of coronavirus infection detected in North Macedonia

On June 20, the Ministry of Health of North Macedonia reported that over the past 24 hours, a survey of 1364 people revealed 185 new cases of coronavirus infection. At the same time, 27 people were recognized as cured. According to the Albanian news agency Telegrafi Maqedoni, since the beginning of the epidemic, 5005 cases of infection have been detected in the country, 233 people have died from complications caused by COVID-19, 11 of them over the past 24 hours, which has become a new anti-record for the country. 1904 patients were already cured. In total, 2868 Macedonians are treated for coronavirus, with almost 1,700 of them living in the capital of Skopje. Despite the fact that several patients with COVID-19 die every day in the country, and statistics on the spread of infection continue to break records, parliamentary elections will be held in the country on July 15.
