Berlin, London and Paris are committed to a deal on Iran, the German Foreign Ministry said
Germany, Great Britain and France are fully committed to maintaining a comprehensive action plan (JCPOA) on Iran's nuclear program, the German Foreign Ministry said in a statement on July 4. Together with France and Great Britain, we confirm that we remain fully committed to preserving the Vienna agreement, the statement said. The German Foreign Ministry added that the European troika has fulfilled its obligations under the JCPOA, including in terms of lifting sanctions. According to the news agency, earlier the Board of Governors of the International Atomic Energy Agency adopted a controversial resolution on inspections of two nuclear facilities in Iran in accordance with a project submitted by three European parties to the Iranian nuclear deal, also known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action.
