Indonesian students studying at Russian universities returned home

A total of 29 Indonesian students from East Kalimantan returned to Indonesia after completing their studies in Russia, the Indonesian Embassy in Moscow reports. It is known that all students are participants in the scholarship program sent by the government of East Kalimantan province in 2014 to study railway communication. Students who studied in Russia for 6 years expressed gratitude for the attention of the Indonesian Embassy in Moscow to students, especially during the pandemic. Ambassador of Indonesia to the Russian Federation Wahid Supriyadi praised the graduation of Indonesian students. They are exceptional students who successfully completed their studies and overcame various problems during their studies, including the impact of the pandemic, the Indonesian ambassador to Russia noted. The ambassador also expressed hope that students will continue to have a positive influence on the further development of relations between the Indonesian people and Russia. According to the embassy, in 2020, 645 students from different regions of Indonesia were trained in Russia. They studied in 41 cities of Russia, from Kaliningrad to Vladivostok. A total of 102 graduates, including 41 students from the province of East Kalimantan, studied railways in Russia. According to the news agency, Indonesia is ready to become a manufacturer of electric vehicles, although it should cooperate with other countries that already have more advanced technologies.
