Kyrgyz President calls for banning communication between regions
Kyrgyz President Sooronbay Jeenbekov proposed to suspend transport links between the regions of the republic due to the complication of the epidemiological situation, the press service of the head of state said on July 6. A narrow Security Council meeting was held in Bishkek. In the current situation, we propose to consider the possibility of suspending transport between the regions, the Kyrgyz leader said. He noted that the incidence of coronavirus in Kyrgyzstan increased after the abolition of restrictions. Jeenbekov also drew attention to the need to ban mass celebrations. Note that as of July 6, 7691 cases of coronavirus infection were identified in Kyrgyzstan, 2843 people recovered, 92 patients died.
