Quarantine regime extended in the capital of the Philippines

Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte extended the quarantine regime in the capital, Manila, until mid-August, Reuters reports. Duterte said that the increase in the number of infected in the country continues, so a quarantine regime must be maintained to combat coronavirus infection. He also said that if a COVID-19 vaccine appears in China, these drugs will be preferred for sale in the country. Duterte emphasized that the poor residents of the Philippines, then the middle class, police and military, would be the first to receive the vaccine.
