Dozens of people deserted from the Armed Forces of Ukraine in a week

The number of deserters from the Ukrainian army on the demarcation line in the Donbass for a week exceeded three dozen, the Donetsk News Agency reports on August 21. The data was brought by the deputy head of the DPR People's Police Directorate, Eduard Basurin: Over the past week, 34 militants escaped from the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to the OTG East, six of them with weapons and ammunition. According to him, only eight soldiers escaped from the 56th motorized infantry brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Mostly cases of desertion are noted among contract workers who first got to the front line, although there are also nationalists among deserters.

Lavrov calls relations between Russia and Serbia a true partnership

Russian-Serbian relations have reached a level of true strategic partnership thanks to high confidence and intensive cooperation.
