Epic Games has invested $15 million in the Core platform of Manticore Games, which is designed to create and share games. This was announced on September 23 by PC Gamer magazine. In a press release, Epic Games President Adam Sussman said that the company believes: the industry is moving towards the fact that games will soon become more like open platforms. The publication noted that a similar position in 2016 was expressed by the founder of Epic Games Tim Sweeney. Core is based on the Unreal Engine engine, who want to try themselves as a creator of games can do this for free, for this they need to install a client and create an account. Earlier, a competition was held in Core, in which users of the service created more than 15 games based on the Dungeons & Dragons desktop role-playing game system.
